Description
This survey helped me get a feel for how my students felt about books in general giving me a glimpse into their earliest memories that may have contributed to their enjoyment (or dislike) of text.
After students filled out the survey, they stood up and shared. It was fun to hear two students who shared their love of the same book as well as learning the differences students had in their reading experiences.
Decades older than my students, my experiences felt archaic, yet I was happy so many had fond memories of their early reading experiences, just as I did.
