Description
Knowing roots (and their meanings) can help students become detectives figuring out unknown words.
By learning all 24 roots, students can greatly increase their vocabulary. Ex: Knowing MAL means faulty, improper, or bad, a student can use context clues to better figure out the meaning of malice, malicious, malfunction, or malnutrition.
Each game has eight roots and definitions. These three ‘matching’ games will give students a chance to pair up with others and learn them all.
After copies are made, you can use year after year.
